Alessandro Bovio was a small-scale winemaker in La Morra.
Gianfranco, an acclaimed restaurateur in La Morra, began taking care of his father’s estate. He started renovating the old winery, devoting his time lovingly to the production of wines from the estate’s vineyards.
The first Nebbiolo was released onto the market.
New vineyards were planted and the winery grew.
