THE STORY OF A FAMILY, A CLOSE-KNIT TEAM AND A VERY CLEAR GOAL: TO PRESERVE AND PROUDLY CONVEY THE MESSAGE OF THE LANGA REGION

Alessandra Bovio
Owner
Alessandra Bovio

She has always worked alongside her father Gianfranco, both in the management of the winery and the running of his restaurants in La Morra, first Ristorante Belvedere and then later Bovio.

She has breathed the scent of wine ever since she was a little girl and, today, she enthusiastically continues the family tradition.

Distinguishing features: in love with Barolo.

Marco Boschiazzo
Owner
Marco Boschiazzo

He met Alessandra when he was very young and has been an integral part of the Bovio family since he was just 15 years old.

He has a strong background in the restaurant world and is chef at the Bovio restaurant, always present in the kitchen and attentive to every single detail.

Alongside his work as a chef, he manages the winery, which he runs with passion and enthusiasm together with his wife.

Elisa Boschiazzo
Fourth generation
Elisa Boschiazzo

Having been raised “in the air of Barolo” since she was born, Elisa is still very young and currently attends the Scuola Enologica (oenology school). She represents the estate’s future.

An interesting fact: our Barolo Elisa Riserva 2004 bears her signature. It really does… because she designed the label herself when she was just five years old.

Matteo Franchi
Cellar
Matteo Franchi

For geographical and sentimental reasons, he likes to call himself “Barbaresco DOCG”.

After graduating from the Scuola Enologica and gaining experience working with a local winery, he came to Bovio in 2015, where he is establishing a clearly defined style.

He divides his time between the vineyard and the cellar.

Francesco Bianco
Cellar
Francesco Bianco

A native of La Morra, he has always had connections with the Bovio family.

His vocation for the world of wine was clear right from the start, with no doubts whatsoever about his future career.
After attending the Scuola Enologica and gaining experience in the sector, in 2019 he became an integral part of our team.

He works mainly in the cellar and oversees the production phases.

Robert Tofan
Cellar
Robert Tofan

He joined the company in 2015 to take care of administrative matters but, thanks to his excellent communication skills, he soon specialised in customer hospitality, tours and tastings. He is in charge of sales and commercial relations.

Despite coming from a different background, he feels as though he has been “adopted by the Langhe”. The proof? He used to be teetotal but has since “converted”.
